Hailing from the hip hop hotbed of Brooklyn, NY, hip hop (music) entered Dan's life at what some would call "late" for an emcee. It was in high school that he discovered the sounds of some hip hop heavy weights (Wu-Tang, Blackstarr) as well as some underground mainstays ( Aesop Rock, Swollen Members). Always interested in poetry, writing lyrics seemed to be the natural progression. While in college he began to take the art, and craft more seriously. It was at this point in his life he knew he wanted to take on the heavy task of making the creation of music, and art his life's work.
Going on three tours and sharing the stage with the likes of Astronautalis, Ecid, Onewerd, Ceschi, and Homeboy Sandman Dillinger has taken the proper steps in making this a reality. Inspired by every genre of music from classical to metalcore, Dillinger's music and lyrical content run the gamut of emotion and sound. With an ever present dedication and desire to improve,grow, and hone his craft. After releasing two mixtapes (Follow My Lead '11) (Razors Out '13), and 2016's release of his newest project called "Skinwalker", this won't be the last you'll be hearing from Dan Dillinger.
